Emerging artist Savannah Ré is having "Seconds Thoughts" about a decision she made when the mind wanders late nights.
It's bad when it's late and you're in deep thought about a decision, it's even worst for Ré in your feelings with liquor in your system as she sings "so much on my head, I wish I can replay / time is moving backwards with this cup to my face."
Here's what the Toronto songstress said to Fader in a email about the single:
"Although I don't say the line "Second Thoughts" in the song, this is
something I wrote from personal experience. It's about when you've been
using distractions to tell yourself you're over someone. In a this case
the distraction is a party, and then it hits you that you're not as okay
as you thought you were, Maybe you have a couple shots of honey Jack in
you, and you start to have second thoughts."
Their is said to be an forthcoming EP in the works, so we will definitely be looking out for that hopefully sooner than later.
