Consistently working and grinding over the years while also staying true to himself is one of the many ways we can describe Ro James. But this year and forth all of the hard work is paying off with plenty of recognition and love after Ro released his hit single "Permission".

Recently while by in NY Ro stopped by Beats1 to kick with Ebro to discuss his hit single, songwriting, his sound and wrapping it up with a special performance of the hit itself.

After a very busy Summer touring and promoting his debut album, Ro ain't stopping as he is the opening act for Maxwell and Mary J. Blige's joint tour The King And Queen Of Hearts World Tour.
