Eric Bellinger is putting on the finishing touches to his forthcoming mixtape Eric B. For President: Term One while releasing lead single "In My Prime" featuring rapper Phil Ade.
In this latest release Bellinger realizes he has reached his peak as a man when he sings "I'm in my prime / I remember those days when a n*gga wasn't big enough / That was so easy / They be tryna sub tweet me when I don't pick it up."
Here's what EB has to say about his upcoming project via Billboard: "Eric B. For President has been a title that has stuck with me my whole life lol. Eric B. & Rakim were 2 of rap music's most coveted pioneers. They opened doors for generations of artists to prosper in this industry. This is my way of saying thank you and providing physical proof that they made the difference."He adds "Plus with this project being more hip-hop driven and a campaign that could potentially put a female president in office, it was only right. I felt it was necessary to raise awareness amongst the culture using my voice to support what's right for the masses."
You can pre-order Eric B. For President: Term One now on iTunes and you'll get this single instantly before the whole project releases this week Sept. 9th. But before you do that check out Eric Bellinger's lead single "In My Prime" below:
