It's Here! Maxwell & Mary J. Blige Announce 'King And Queen Of Hearts' World Tour

R&B fans and enthusiast unite! We are witnessing one of the greatest R&B and soul joint tours ever. Legendary artists Maxwell and Mary J. Blige are here to take show out in their world tour called the King And Queen Of Hearts.

This soulful tour is kicking off internationally first opening up October 15th in Frankfurt, Germany than hitting the U.S November 11th in Baltimore.

Here's what Mary J had to say about the world tour via Billboard: "Maxwell is a man that we need as women. He sings from his heart and soul with an amazing voice. When you hear him, you feel comforted, good, sexy, sly. You feel like you want to go out with your girls and then you also feel like you want to lay up with your man," says Mary. He just give you that freedom as a woman to be all this sexy, empowering and beautiful things. Women need to feel like there's some man out there that really cares and will speak to them through song."

Maxwell also adds about the world tour via Billboard: "This is a bucket list situation for me, something we'v been trying to bring together because our audiences are each other's. Mary's soulful voice and the way she connects with her audience; her warmth and giving nature in an industry that can make you cold, stale and jaded: I've learned a lot from her in that regard. And this isn't just a love fest for people who have followed our music. This is a celebration of New York, R&B/Soul music and the '90s."

Both artist have numerous hits from the 90's to even today especially Maxwell who recently came off of his own promo tour for his latest album blackSUMMERS'night. In addition a special guest rising star Ro James is set to be the opening act for the tour as he did previously did for Maxwell's promo tour.
