After fans been anticipating some new music from Sevyn Streeter not only does she drop her new single "Prolly" featuring Gucci Mane, barely a couple days later she releases sexy post apocalyptic visuals to follow up.
In this single and video Sevyn is uncut and raw as she honestly sings "Did I go too far tonight / I don't know, prolly / Did I almost start a fight / I don't know, prolly / Did I spend too much tonight / I don't know, prolly / All these n*ggas tryna f*ck / I don't know, prolly." As Gucci later follows up with "That's your girl?, that's your word?, I could prolly get her."
Here's what the R&B songstress had to say about this single and "Mad Max" inspired video via The FADER: "Though I am definitely a fan of Mad Max, I honestly can't take responsibility for this creative vision. I gotta hand it to my director Mike Ho! He turned the feeling and vibes I had while writing "Prolly" into reality! The knew the song was unapologetic, raw and edgy and he created a treatment/environment that brought it to life.
Also during the release of this video Streeter announced the title of her debut studio album GIRL INTERRUPTED and along with that she is also having a monthly series of releases off of the album until it drops. The album is set to feature Def Loaf, Dave East, August Alsina, and Ty Dolla Sign. Along with a production team of heavy hitters liker The-Dream, Bangladesh, and Sean Garrett.
