Flashback Friday: Ashanti - "Happy" (Ft. Ja Rule)

When Ashanti broke out in the music world with her second single "Happy" featuring Ja Rule, the world didn't know they would've made so much more historic collabs and they instantly made Murder Inc more known and loved by many.
This single was in the top 10 on the Billboards Top 100 charts in 2002, than later on her debut album self titled Ashanti became number one on Billboards Top 200 and followed up with a Grammy win for Best R&B Contemporary album in 2003.

The R&B songstress is said to be working on a forthcoming album to be titled Chapter VI releasing sometime this year, but hasn't been any update on that so far. She last released her recent single "Let's Go" featuring rapper Rick Ross end of 2015 with a video in December.

Ashanti has been still performing her hits at shows, she was recently seen shutting the stage down at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert this past weekend.
