Maxwell Takes It Back Home In "Lake By The Ocean" Visuals

Maxwell sure knows how to set the mood when it comes to all of his videos. In his return single "Lake By The Ocean" video, he takes us to his home countries Haiti and the Dominican Republic as he brings the song to life !

Here's what Maxwell had to say about the video:“iTt depicts a world in need of water and two clandestine lovers who meet with liquid dreams, one being the bare boned need for clean water, and another, the performer, who wants to be lost in the watery worlds of love and devotion.”


In his return after seven years the R&B vet has a busy schedule ahead of him this summer, as he's releasing the second part to his trilogy with the album blackSUMMERSnight on July 1st. Along with his official SUMMERS Tour which is gonna feature other guest like Ro James, Fantasia, and Anthony Hamilton during different shows.

As well as the tour Maxwell is headlining the 2016 Essence Festival from June 30th to July 3rd in New Orleans. He will be performing when his album blackSUMMERSnight releases July 1st, so that whole day will be unbelievable if you're there !
