With the popularity of Gallant's single "Weight In Gold", it was only a matter of time till their was remix/duet. The surprise addition to the single was the veteran Seal and he couldn't possibly turn down the offer.
Gallant has his on YouTube series called In The Room, where he collaborates with artists that inspired him and Seal was one of them. Check out what he said about the duet: "Seal was the guy that made it okay to straddle genres—he just absolutely refused to conform. Hearing his lyrics as a kid completely transformed my idea of being an artist, being honest in what you write, being black... all of it... and to be even standing in the same room as him let alone singing a song I wrote with the dude was utterly unreal."
